Fees are payable before each semester. Payment for full-year courses will be divided between Semester One and Semester Two. The cost of study depends on the load per semester.

Fees are currently an allowable tax deduction in some circumstances. Please check your eligibility with the Australian Taxation Office and ask about related expenses, which may also be tax deductible.

Your employer may also have a scheme for encouraging further study and be willing to pay your fees.

Research Degrees

The Federal Government’s Research Training Scheme (RTS) provides HECS exemptions for Commonwealth-funded higher degree students for the duration of an accredited higher-degree course, up to a maximum period of four years of full-time equivalent study for a doctorate and up to two years of full-time equivalent study for a master’s by research candidature.
