The Library holds about 100,000 scores, 30,000 books, 12,000 CDs/DVDs, 12,000 vinyl recordings and print/electronic journals.

Subject areas covered are Western music, especially of the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries, as well as jazz and popular music of the 20th century.
