Holds and Recalls

A Hold is a reservation that may be placed on an item that is on loan to someone else. The item on loan is recalled. This means that the original loan period is reduced. The borrower is required to return the item(s) within 5 working days; otherwise, fines of $2.00 will be charged.

Please ensure that the Library has your correct e-mail or mailing address.

The purpose of Holds and Recalls is to allow equity of access to the collection. However, in situations where the return of a recalled item would cause major inconvenience, for example, the music on loan is required for your recital, please see the Library staff at the Circulation Desk.
