Performance Opportunities
Saxophone students from all music degree programs at the Sydney Conservatorium have the opportunity to engage in a multitude of performing ensembles. Large ensembles include the saxophone orchestra, wind ensemble, modern music ensemble and orchestra (as needed). Students are involved in saxophone quartets and various chamber groups of every possible combination! (saxophone and percussion, saxophone and harp, wind sextet etc.)
In addition to the ensembles there are numerous platforms from which students are able to regularly present solo and saxophone piano works. As well as a weekly woodwind performance class, there are also studio classes and studio recitals throughout the semester.
