Introducing Music is a challenging and non-competitive 12 week course for children who have no musical experience. The course is taught by experienced Conservatorium teachers.

Based on Orff-Schulwerk methods, students will be introduced to music through movement, speech patterns, singing and improvisation. In a non-threatening environment that is designed to stimulate confidence, students will cover the essential elements of music including aural skills in pitch and rhythm as well as an introduction to note-reading.

Students will also be introduced to various instruments through interactive demonstrations.
