Simon Rickard - early music masterclass
Wednesday 3 September 5.00- 7.00pm, Recital Hall East
Simon has performed and recorded with some of Europe’s finest period instrument ensembles including Les Arts Florissants and the Gabrieli Consort, with whom he was principal bassoon for five years.

Stephen Delaney - piano masterclass
Friday 5 September 11.00am - 1.00pm, Recital Hall West
Stephen Delaney was born in Sydney. He completed a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance at the University of Sydney, studying under Neta Maughan and graduating with high distinction. He continued his studies in Vienna at the Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst and later at the Vienna Conservatorium of Music.
As a specialist in the field of vocal accompaniment, Stephen has worked with many well-known artists. He is also active as a chamber musician and soloist and has appeared across Europe, Australia, North America and Japan.

Feng Ning, violin & John Chen, piano - masterclass
Tuesday 16 September 6.00pm, Recital Hall West
Feng Ning’s first prizes in the Michael Hill (New Zealand) and Paganini (Italy) violin competitions have led to invitations to perform across the world. He is the only person ever to receive a final exam score of 100% in the history of London’s Royal Academy of Music. John Chen became the youngest-ever winner of the Sydney International Piano Competition in 2004.
