Taiwan and Hong Kong – June 2009
Professor Kim Walker, Dean and Principal, together with Mr Paul Rickard-Ford, Chair of Keyboard, and Ms Elaine Chia, International Development Manager travelled to Taiwan and Hong Kong in June 2009 for a series of meetings, masterclasses and live auditions. Visits were made to National Taiwan Normal University and National University of Tainan, the latter of which generously hosted the Taiwan auditions. In Hong Kong, 18 auditions were held over 1½ days, and with many quality applicants. As a result, many offers have already been made for the 2010 academic year.
Thanks go to Edward Hsieh at IDP Kaohsiung, and Vonnie Leung and the entire team headed by Joanna Leung at ACE-HK for their assistance throughout the auditions.
