Instructors can book soundproofed teaching studios for instruction of Conservatorium students. Instructors can also use academic and performance spaces for instruction, and book the Conservatorium’s large venues if they have sufficient numbers.

The Conservatorium’s music technology facilities include two computer labs and seven specialist sound/video production/composition studios, available for use by Conservatorium staff. The Music Technology computers are all Macintosh computers with specialist music composition, recording, music education and research software/hardware designed to service the coursework and research needs of students and staff. An ICT Computer Access Lab is located in the Conservatorium Library providing additional IT facilities for university staff and students.

The Conservatorium Library houses a vast collection of books, scores, CDs, audio visual material and videos, meeting the resource needs of staff in performance, teaching and research.

There a several courses also taught on main campus at the Old Darlington School or in the Seymour Theatre.
