Conservatorium Mailing Lists

The Sydney Conservatorium of Music runs a number of mailing lists that are used for communicating with groups of staff and students. To ensure these lists remain an effective and focused communication tool they are moderated which means in most cases only staff that are members of these lists receive email and only a limited number of staff can “post”/send emails to these lists. If you want to post to these lists and are not a list moderator then you will need to make a request to Faculty Manager outlining your purpose for communicating with groups and anticipated frequency of use. The purpose of the mailing lists are defined below:

CON-NEWS Formal advice of matters relating to and affecting staff and students at the Conservatorium (core business).
CON-DISCUSSION General matters that are for the information or opportunities of staff and students at the Conservatorium.
CON-EVENTS Events and activities that are being held in the Conservatorium, or relating to the concerts program.
CON-CHAIRS Formal notification from Executive and Operational Areas (eg student admin) on matters relating solely to Chairs of Units and  Associate Deans.
CON-ACADEMIC-STAFF Formal notification from Executive to all full-time or fractional teaching staff.
CON-PT-ACADEMIC-STAFF Formal notification from Executive to all part-time (contract) teaching staff.
CON-GENSTAFF Formal notification from Executive to all general staff.
CON-PT-GENSTAFF Formal notification from Executive to all general part time staff.
CON-STUDENTS Formal notification from Executive and Operational Areas to all enrolled students.
CON-PG-STUDENTS Formal notification from Executive and Operational Areas to all enrolled postgraduate students.
CON-UG-STUDENTS Formal notification from Executive and Operational Areas to all enrolled undergraduate students.
